The Sioux Falls Convention Center, managed by Global Spectrum, opened in 1996 and has been managed by Global Spectrum since July 1, 2007. The convention center hosts over 400 events each year. Visitors to the convention center can also enjoy the actual Sioux Falls, several minor league sports teams, and the hometown of Tom Brokaw. A rich history and beautiful Downtown SculptureWalk have welcomed visitors for 150 years.
The facility itself boasts a beautiful 16,800 sq. ft. Grand Ballroom and 33,600 sq. ft. of Exhibit Hall. The facility features 12 additional meeting rooms and one-stop shopping is always available as the Center features in-house catering, audio/visual, marketing, and event staffing for meetings and exhibitions. The Sioux Falls Convention Center is conveniently located near I-90 and I-29, only 1 mile from the state's largest airport (Joe Foss Field) and is attached to a 243-room Sheraton Hotel.
